My experience with documentary film making also makes me a good monitor for truthful human behavior.  

I look at a scene and think, “Is this how this would REALLY go down?”  Do people really break up this way, or talk to their doctor, or landlord this way?  

Is this someone with a true emotional life or is this an ACTOR who wants to PLAY A SCENE?

I don’t want scenes, I want the truth.
